My 3-year old son is growing up so fast.
I could still remember feeling him squirm in my tummy while I was still pregnant.
The 12 hours of labor that made me a stronger woman that I already was.
The sleepless nights and breastfeeding struggles we had until he was 1 year old.
The first time steps he took, being potty trained and singing silly songs.
Haaay….. time indeed flies very fast.
From one milestone to the next with matching photos and videos to boot, I have always watched with pride and much love.
Last night was another milestone for me and my toddler, we actually had an impromtu one on one date at a coffee shop. We were waiting for my husband and so I decided to bring him inside Starbucks. I asked him what he wanted to order. He said he wanted the “brown” donut. I told him to sit down first while I got our orders. He did sit down there, quietly and well-behaved. If you have toddlers, you know how challenging it is to go out with no extra “hands” to help you.
When I got our orders, we took some pictures together. We ate together. We even read some magazines together. The best part was actually having conversations with each other. I know our small talk was just about trivial matters and about the people that we love. But I was really so stoked at the idea that we can actually start having conversations and dates like this already.
I’m so looking forward to more dates soon!
