Today’s post is brought to you by the letter W. :)
My Husband, Wally is celebrating his birthday today! To honor this Wonderful Man, I am writing down my five (5) “W” Wishes for him!
1) The Wish of Wacky-ness
I must share that before Wally met me, he didn’t do “wacky” poses when pictures are taken. He actually didn’t smile a lot for pictures. He has always been a funny guy but he was also a serious person. He was “forced” to learn the wacky pose when he met my AC Highschool friends. haha.. It was just so cute when he would practice his “wacky” poses so that he’ll be ready when the next wacky picture taking will be. haha… And now it’s all the cuter because he knows how to make me smile by doing random wacky poses. more haha..
My first wish is more than just wacky poses for him but to always have that wackiness inside. To always have wonder and a tad craziness to go beyond the usual and make our marriage and family life always exciting!
2) The Wish of Wit
Wally is known to be a corny and funny guy. I must admit that it’s one of the traits that has endeared him to me. naks. I just love how he makes me laugh with his corny jokes. I just love being corny and laughing with Wally especially at random times. And admittedly, I think his corny-ness has rubbed off on me too. I also love how he also makes other people smile, laugh and happy because of his jokes.
My second wish is for him to continue to be witty, corny and funny. And that he will make more people smile, laugh and be happy because of his corny jokes!
3. The Wish of Wealth
Wally is an Accountant by profession. He loves numbers very much and he’s good at managing finances. I honor Wally for being the responsible head of our family by working very hard to be the main provider. Aside from the work that he has, he has also been working hard to provide other sources of income to secure our family’s finances too. But more than the financial wealth, Wally also values Spiritual wealth and I am very thankful that he continues to remain a missionary at heart. He brings the heart of the mission first of all to our family and to wherever God leads him to. Plus he also finds other avenues to spread the Word of God.
My third wish is for him to continue to be blessed with both financial and spiritual wealth! And that he may continue to be a blessing to others both financially and spiritually!
4. The Wish of Warm-heartedness
Wally has a good heart. He is a very sympathetic and sincere person. Even if he is not a fulltime lay missionary anymore, he is still very pastoral in his dealings with people. In his best ability, he still chooses to be loving than to be right. Wally is also a very good listener. He gives his full attention to anyone speaking to him. Whenever we talk, I feel that he is listening to me 100%. Plus he is a very loyal and good friend as well. I’m thankful that he is my Best Friend.
My fourth wish is for him to always have a heart that is real and true and to always choose to be more loving than right!
5. The Wish of Wisdom
I honor Wally for valuing the gift of discernment. He is one person who will go through the real process of discernment when making serious decisions in life. He is able to give good judgment because he knows who to turn to. He prays to God, consults and listens to Him and prays for His guidance in life.
My fifth wish is for him to always be wise in always turning to God, clinging on to Him and loving Him with everything that he’s got!
